About PTO
The PTO plays an important role in your child's experience at CCE by connecting parents, teachers, and members of the community to support our students. We also coordinate fun events for the community and conduct fundraisers to purchase important resources for our school. Best of all, as a CCE parent, you're already part of this organization! There is no fee to join - just show up to a meeting or sign up to volunteer! We look forward to hearing from you!

Get in touch with me
This is my 3rd and final year serving as PTO President and I have really enjoyed being a part of planning fun school events! My family loves the Coyote Creek community. We have a 5th grader and a 3rd grader who like to help before and after events, and my husband is a great photographer and often takes pics of CCE events for the yearbook. Some of our favorite events are the Scurry, Lucky Duck Bingo, and the Book Fair. I always love sharing info and hearing ideas, so please reach out if you have any questions or feedback or would like to get involved!
Vice President
Emily Guggino
This is my third year serving on the PTO Board and I thoroughly enjoy helping to plan fun events for our school and connecting with other CCE community members. My daughter will be in 3rd grade this year and my son has gone through CCE – they both have enjoyed being involved in the PTO with me. Outside of school our family enjoys spending time outdoors and just being together. I look forward to seeing you at a PTO or school event soon!

Get in touch with me
I grew up in Northern California and after college lived in Southern CA teaching elementary for about 20 years. My children attended the last school I worked at and I was on the PTO there as well. This will be my 2nd year as the Communications Vice President on the CCE PTO and I also work at CCE as an Educational Assistant. My family and I recently moved to Colorado and I wanted to continue to be part of the school community here too. My girls are going into the 3rd grade at CCE and 8th grade at Ranch View Middle School.
Secretary
Kim Carlson
I joined the CCE PTO in 2023, and now I’m currently in my second year of being Secretary. I have two kids in the district – a kindergartner and a second grader. This is my 14th year in Colorado and my sixth year in Highlands Ranch. We love this community and feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful school.
Treasurer

Sydne Enlund
Originally from Minnesota, I’ve called Colorado home for the past 20 years. My husband and I live in Solstice with our two daughters. Lily is in 1st grade and Anna is in Pre-K. This is my second year on the PTO board as Treasurer and I love having the opportunity to give back to the wonderful school community that is Coyote Creek. We enjoy traveling and being outside in the mountains. If you see me in the school halls or at an event, please say hi!
Co-Vice Presidents - Fundraising

Tracy Meier
Hello Coyote Creek Elementary families! My name is Tracy Meier and I am thrilled to be a part of this vibrant community. This will be my first year serving on the PTO board. I absolutely love Coyote Creek Elementary and everything it represents. As a proud parent of two wonderful kids—Tripp, who is in first grade, and Sloan, who is in the Little Pups program—I am excited to engage with all of you at our fantastic community events. I look forward to meeting new friends and supporting our amazing school this year.

Grace Anzai
Originally from Idaho, I have called Colorado home since 2008 (with a brief intermission to Chicago from 2014-2016). I live in the Westridge neighborhood with my husband and two kids (one in Pre-K and one in 1st Grade). Our family loves to travel and explore new places! This is my first year on the PTO board and I am so excited to continue my involvement in the amazing community that is Coyote Creek Elementary.

Get Involved
There are many ways to be an active member of the PTO. The easiest way is to simply read the emails that the PTO sends so you are kept up-to-date on the latest happenings and events. Please also plan to attend an upcoming PTO meeting (meeting dates can be found here.) All meetings are held in the CCE library (unless otherwise noted) and free childcare for school-age children is available.
Another way to get involved is to attend one of the many events that the PTO puts on. These include Restaurant Nights (where a portion of the amount spent during a specific time are donated to the school), the annual Scurry fun run, Lucky Duck Bingo, and many others. Keep an eye on the CCE calendar and PTO emails for updates.
We also need photos for our yearbook! Instructions for submitting photos can be found here.
Finally, a terrific way to be a part of the PTO is to join in on a committee. For more information, attend an upcoming PTO meeting or contact PTO President Liz Wyknenko. Parent volunteers make all of these fun CCE events happen for the kids – we’d love to have you join us!
Teacher Favorites
Do you want to get your kids’ teachers or school administrators something special, but not sure what he or she likes? We can help!
The PTO asked staff to provide us with their favorite items so we can share it with parents. If you’d like to get something special for a teacher or school administrator this list should help! (List updated 9/23/2024)
