3rd Grade
Hello CCE families! I'm Caroline Culek and I’m excited to be teaching third grade again this year. I truly love working with this age group because of their incredible growth, curiosity, and the energy they bring to the classroom every day!
Originally from Iowa, I attended the University of Northern Iowa, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Literacy Education. While Iowa will always feel like home, I now enjoy exploring everything Colorado has to offer. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me hiking, gardening, exercising, traveling, or relaxing with a good book.
My education and experience have shown me that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful classroom. I strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment where every student feels a true sense of belonging. I encourage them to explore new ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and embrace challenges, nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
I’m so grateful to be a part of your child’s learning adventure and this amazing community. I can’t wait to connect with you and your family. Here’s to an exciting year ahead!

Hello! My name is Sarah Page and I am excited to start this school year with you! I will be heading into my 17th year of teaching, and my 8th year of teaching at CCE. I obtained my B.S. in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University. Prior to moving to Colorado, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in New Mexico.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, two children, two dogs, and a cat. My children are both involved in Scouting, so we spend a lot of time outdoors camping, hiking, and enjoying nature. Some of my other favorite activities are reading, crafting, and cooking.
I know we are going to have a great year full of learning and fun! I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am looking forward to an amazing school year with your child at Coyote Creek Elementary!
I have been teaching in Douglas County since 2005. I’ve been fortunate to teach second grade through fifth grade.
I am originally from Illinois. My husband and I have a beautiful daughter and sweet and spicy dogs. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, going to the movies, reading, learning, and most of all, spending time with my family.
I am looking forward to getting to know your child, sharing in their interests, and finding what works best for their learning. Your child and I will work together to continue their academic journey and build upon their strengths. My overall goal is to nurture their love of learning and support them as they continue their growth in exploration, risk-taking, self-efficacy, and self-advocacy.
Again, I couldn’t be more excited to be your child’s teacher this year and I am looking forward to working with you and your child! I am confident we are going to have a magical year full of discovery, learning, and growth!

Hello! Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Amy Richie-Zehr. I am originally from northern Indiana. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Goshen College. Following graduation, I lived in Guatemala for 2 months and El Salvador for 1 month. After that wonderful experience, I moved to Indianapolis, where I taught a combination of 2nd and 3rd grade for 16 years. My family recently relocated to Littleton. It has been a dream of ours to live in Colorado, so we are really excited to be here! We have two kids, Macy (7) and Jude (5), who will attend Coyote Creek. My favorite hobbies are hiking, basketball, photography, writing, and playing guitar.
My priority as your child's teacher is to create and maintain a safe and fun environment where students grow in all aspects of learning. I believe academic growth is at its highest when there is also a strong focus on social and emotional learning, student agency, and creative teaching strategies that support the many learning styles of a classroom.
I'm so excited for the upcoming school year and I can't wait to meet students and families!
~Mrs. Richie-Zehr
